Earns Operational Excellence Award Year 2003

On 26 Feb. 2004, Chris
O’Callaghan, General Manager Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Region ,
accompanied by John Salter Regional Manager, Marketing, presented an
Operational Excellence Gold Certificate to the CTGA – Caltex Aviation
Fuel Station at Marsa Alam ( RMF ) International Airport which is
located 210 km south of Hurgada A/P at the Red Sea Coast. It is the
first A/P in Egypt that has been constructed under (BOT) principle , and
managed & operated by a joint venture company (EMAK) , meanwhile CTGA
is the sole supplier of all petroleum products as well as Jet Fuel to
the A/P facilities & equipment which were commenced in November 2001 .
Marsa Alam Staff has fulfilled
his commitment to achieving “ 4 Zeros in Zero 3) (Zero – spill, zero –
product quality problem, Zero – incident , and Zero – defective safety
devices).
The celebration was attended by
A/P Security & fire brigade
Brig. General Mahmood Mostafa, A/P EMAK GM
Mr. Jacquy Pain and A/P EMAK Operations Manager, Mr. Hussein Rifky.
“Our team in Marsa Alam has
demonstrated an ability to achieve the world class expectations.,” Said
Chris and added that “The spirit of cooperation and support from all A/P
department’s Heads (Civil Aviation / Security & Fire Brigade / EMAK) is
highly appreciated by CTGA Management .
In accepting the award Ali Ramzy,
Aviation Manager recognized the staff by noting that their over
dedication and strong team work were the key of their success and
achieving 2 more zeros (Zero – delays and Zero – customer complaints).
